Taken Up, formed in May of 2015, is based out of Bismarck, North Dakota, with members Rachel Goettle, Chris Uhler, Daniel Lyter, Brayden Renner, and Kyle Martin. The 5-piece rock group, all students from the University of Mary, seeks to bring a high energy, positive message to a broken world through covers and heartfelt, melodious originals. Their debut self-titled release is now available, and they are currently writing new music, expanding their cover repertoire, and looking for future gigs.
