Band Description
Corner Gospel Explosion isn't afraid to be a weird. Hailing from the resort town of Bend, Oregon, their perspectives are a little unique. The Indie Rock quartet draws the lines between what it means to have faith, and what it looks like to dissect your faith in the form of songs. "In a town like Bend, you meet people from all walks of life." Lead singer, and Drummer, Bradley Parsons, explains, "We certainly don't live in a bubble here, the people can really challenge your perspectives and make you think hard about what you believe. I don't want to shy away from taking the hard questions head on." (They certainly don't shy away.) The majority of Corner Gospel Explosion's debut album, "Tension", covers the topic of uncertainty, as well as the push and pull that exists in all of our lives. One of the quintessential lyrics from the album comes from the track, "Song in the Trees", which states "What is there to find, if you don't cross the line?"
