Band Description
The Upper Room Project is a group of musicians, working toward the goal of making worship more than something that happens inside the walls of a church. The group calls Chillicothe, Ohio their hometown and Chillicothe First Assembly their home church. The band kicked off their career at the 2014 state and national fine arts competitions in Columbus, Ohio and received the National Merit Award (1st place) for Christian Band. Within a year of its formation, the band released its first EP in February 2015 with over 400 fans in attendance. The band toured throughout 2015, including a stop at King's Island's Spirit Song Festival where they won the Spirit Song Fest Band Contest and opened up for some of the most well-known artists in Christian music. The band has one goal in mind - to make the name of Jesus famous. The words of their music match up with the actions of their lives - as they do their best to fulfill the calling that God has set before them.
