EXEGESIS is Metal band based in Chicago. Having formed in early 2003 in Colombia, the band made their way to Chicago in 2014 and are currently signed to indie label Grrr Records on the city's north side. To date they have recorded two full-length albums (Tears of Blood, Artificial Spirit) and one EP (Human Obsolescence). Their blend of thrash, death and heavy metal has sent them to the top of the growing Colombian and South American metal scene. From the beginning, Exegesis has had one mission: to share God's Word with young people in a clear and simple way through their music, on-stage performances, and speaking at conferences. Their current material is a blend of Spanish and English.
